Dark Skies, Bright Kids is an outreach organization in the University of Virginia Astronomy Department working to enhance science education through astronomy for elementary students across Virginia.
They welcome you to join them for their 16th annual Star Party for a night of stargazing on Saturday, September 12 from 6:30PM-10PM at Albemarle Ciderworks. This event is open to the public, and will feature telescope viewings, constellation tours, planetarium shows, cider tastings, and more — all led by UVA astronomers.
