Good Shepherd is an independent school in Richmond’s Forest Hill neighborhood, serving students from preschool through 8th grade. Located alongside the James River Park System, outdoor learning is part of every school day. Classes have no more than 16 students, and the school focuses on academic learning, discovery, community, and respect for one another and the environment.
They believe children should feel enriched by their experiences and relationships with many different kinds of people, and aim to create a school environment that embraces and celebrates each child’s unique perspective.
