WNRN, a noncommercial independent music radio station, seeks a Client Services and Traffic Coordinator. This position serves in a full-time capacity executing essential areas of the Underwriting Sales Department which acquires clients to support the station with announcements during the broadcast.

Client Services and Traffic Coordinator will:

Generate and reconcile daily traffic underwriting logs for all of the signals in the WNRN network and coordinate each day’s log with the programming team; Communicate with current clients regarding accuracy of audio announcements and weekly written copy as needed; Assist in enforcing public radio copy compliance regulations; Generate monthly reports; Maintain a client station ID checklist that includes active clients and is updated for renewing contracts. Some recording of announcements may be part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must be organized, articulate, curious, and a strong writer. Must enjoy problem solving and be comfortable explaining regulations to clients. Previous customer service experience preferred. Previous broadcast traffic experience is a plus. Must appreciate great music, enjoy the experience of local events, and embrace the culture of community.

WNRN has offices in Charlottesville and Richmond. This position can be hybrid, but all employees are required to be in Charlottesville for bi-weekly meetings.
