Virginia Farm Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit located just outside of Lynchburg. Their mission is to provide lifelong sanctuary and care for farm animals in need of a permanent home, while educating the community about the animals we share our world with.
To celebrate Farm Animal Awareness Week, September 13-19, they’re offering daily educational sanctuary tours. They welcome you to join them on these tours to meet these animals, learn their stories, and discover the importance of animal sanctuaries.
