St. Mark’s Episcopal Church welcomes you to a conversation with Joan Trumpauer and Loki Mulholland at 4PM on October 10.
Joan was a Freedom Rider; part of the movement across the South to promote equal rights and voting rights. Her 1961 Jackson Mississippi mug shot has since become one of the most well-known photos in 20th century history.
She will be sharing her story, and lead a discussion of personal activism, courage, and continuing the fight for equality into the 21st century. This event is open to the public.
