Roanoke Outside is a nonprofit working to protect outdoor experiences and build a stronger outdoor community.
One of the biggest ways they do that is through Project Outside — a community fund that builds new outdoor infrastructure, maintains the trails in our community, and supports local outdoor businesses and programs. So far, they’ve supported 41 projects — from new river access points to tools for volunteers caring for trails.
