Human trafficking is often not like what we see in movies or social media. Instead, human trafficking is a very relational crime.
Over 90% of individuals who have been trafficked KNEW their trafficker before the abuse began. A trafficker identifies a vulnerable person and engages relationally in order to manipulate and groom for the purpose of exploitation.
Freedom 4/24 exists to PREVENT human trafficking and exploitation, pursuing protection, dignity and restoration for individuals and communities, aiming to stop this type of abuse before it ever becomes part of someone’s story.
