ReLeaf Cville is a nonprofit working to protect Charlottesville’s health by expanding and maintaining the tree canopy, focusing on neighborhoods impacted by rising heat as the climate changes. They do this by planting trees, preserving mature trees, and educating the next generation of environmental leaders.
They are hosting the first Cville Tree Week Sunday, November 1 – Saturday, November 7. They welcome you to participate in workshops, hands-on activities, and public events focused on caring for trees and learning about their role in Charlottesville’s environment and neighborhoods.
Proceeds support ReLeaf and their co-host organizations’ mission to grow and care for Charlottesville’s trees.
