The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank serves 25 counties across the Blue Ridge to help ensure children and families have access to nutritious food year‑round.
Along with the Shenandoah Valley Kiwanis Club, they’re hosting the Coolest Pet in the Shenandoah Valley Contest, from September 8-29. The contest highlights pets across the community and names the Coolest Pet in the region. Proceeds support the Food Bank’s School Break Box program, which provides food for children and their families when school’s out for holidays.
