Willow Woods Equine Sanctuary is a nonprofit in Hampton Roads that rescues horses from kill pens and rehabilitates them with care and dedication.
In addition to horses, the organization prides itself on the work ethic and confidence gained by young volunteers, particularly those who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.
