The Monacan Indigenous Cultural Landscape Project, being done in conjunction with the Monacan Nation, will highlight, showcase, and study how the Monacan Nation used the land of Shenandoah National Park. This study will lead to interpretive signage, educational programs, and a broader storytelling of the Monacan Nation.
