This Saturday, April 20th, Record Store Day continues a 15-year tradition of independent record store owners and supporters spreading the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently-owned, brick-and-mortar record stores in the U.S. and thousands of similar stores around the world and the special role they play in their communities.
All week long, listen as WNRN features songs included among the limited releases, bonus tracks, and previously unreleased material available this Record Store Day.
WNRN’s Record Store Day Appreciation is supported by Plan 9 Music in Richmond and Charlottesville, open this Saturday at 9 a.m.
