University of Virginia’s Office for Sustainability is wishing you a happy April and happy Earth Month!
Every year, organizations at the University of Virginia and across the Charlottesville-area community host over 50 events, including talks and eco-friendly volunteer opportunities.
Outdoor enthusiasts can participate in tree plantings or river cleanups. College students can check out SWAP’s clothing swap or Eco-Fair on Earth Day, April 22nd at Peabody Lawn at UVA. And families can even take a day trip to a local farm or vineyard.
Whatever suits your style, they welcome you to celebrate our shared planet by joining any of the Earth Month celebrations at UVA and in the Charlottesville area through April 30th.
