In-Studio Session

Nellie McKay visited the WNRN studio for a live In-Studio Session and discussed her love of animals, inspiration, and the making of her 2023 album “Hey Guys, Watch This”.

Folk-punk musician, Sunny War, visited our Charlottesville studio before her sold out Friday night show at The Front Porch in Charlottesville.

You won’t want to miss the session as she and Amber discuss her signature playing style, a new album in the works, and Sunny plays several songs from her 2023 album, Anarchist Gospel.

The Steel Wheels release their new album, Sideways, on Friday, Feb. 9. Ahead of the album’s release, band members Eric and Trent visited the Charlottesville studio to play a few tunes and discuss the record. The members of Pressing Strings made a stop at WNRN’s Charlottesville studio before their show at The Southern Cafe and Music Hall. WNRN Members gathered for our 2023 Commonwealth Holiday Showcase at In Your Ear Studios in Richmond. This year, Virginia bands Palmyra and Hotspit brought the holiday spirit, performing a mix of classics and new tunes.
