Hear Together: WOW Art On 1st Gallery Contest

Wall Opportunities and Wishes, otherwise known as WOW is a nonprofit helping meet the needs of Virginians with disabilities that cannot be met in any other way. 

WOW is partnering with Art on 1st Gallery in Roanoke for a Calendar Contest fundraiser! 

Art for All:  A Year of Inspiration will feature artwork that celebrates inclusion, empowerment, and community. All mediums are welcome and submissions are due by May 31st.

The Living Room Series with Nat Myers

Nat Myers announced his diagnosis with a rare cancer, causing him to cancel his upcoming tour. In support of Nat, we’ve decided to air the recording of The Living Room Series, hosted by Trent Wagler of the Steel Wheels, early. Tune in this Saturday at 8 a.m. for a special presentation of The Living Room Series with Nat Myers, live from the Court Square Theater in Downtown Harrisonburg, featuring a live performance from Nat Myers and a conversation between Nat and Trent Wagler.

Good Music to Lift Los Angeles

All proceeds from Good Music to Lift Los Angeles will benefit locals affected by the fires through the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund and the LA Food Bank. Profile: Chrysler Museum

Founded in 1933, and donated to by Walter P. Chrysler in 1971, the Chrysler Museum has fifty galleries, a growing collection of more than 35,000 objects, an interactive space for families, and the only glass studio of its kind in the Mid-Atlantic region. Admission is free and open to the public 6 days a week.

Serving Norfolk and the entire Hampton Roads, the museum features European paintings, decorative arts, sculpture, antiquities, and an extensive glass collection.

Humble Hustle is a nonprofit in Roanoke that empowers, exposes, and educates over 500 Black youth participants in Roanoke through their programs.
