Local Environmental Agriculture Project (LEAP) is a Roanoke-based nonprofit striving to nurture equitable food and farming systems that prioritize health and abundance. Founded in 2009, LEAP programs include two farmers markets, a mobile market, a farm share, a food hub, a retail store, a processing kitchen, three community gardens, and robust food access programs.
All are invited to visit Grandin Village Farmers Market on Saturdays, West End Farmers Market on Tuesdays, the LEAP Mobile Market during its scheduled weekday stops, and the LEAPCommunity Store on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. More information is online at leapforlocalfood.org.
LEAP is a proud financial supporter of WNRN.
