Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance is a nonprofit focused on community building and economic development in Downtown Harrisonburg.
Their organization uses events to bring people into the historic district while aiming to build lasting memories for attendees.
They invite you to their annual Skeleton Festival on Saturday, October 19th from 2-5 pm for Halloween-themed family-friendly fun.
There will be downtown-wide trick-or-treating for the kids and an adult beverage sip and stroll for the adults.
Visitors can enjoy themed activities for all ages throughout the entire downtown, including costume contests with prizes for adults, kids, and even pups on Court Square.
New this year, SkeletonFest will feature a sensory-friendly children’s activity area and an early trick-or-treating hour in partnership with local special education teachers to make this event accessible.
