Hear Together: Second Street Gallery Black Arts Collective Exhibit

Second Street Gallery is a nonprofit community art space in Charlottesville promoting contemporary artists through the presentation of their work in a professional gallery setting.

Their current exhibitions run through May 23rd.

The Charlottesville Black Arts Collective group show, Home, in the Main Gallery explores the rich and diverse meaning of “home” in Black communities.

In the Dove Gallery, local photographers, Eze Amos, Tom Daly, Kristen Finn, John Robinson, and Sarah Cramer Shields, exhibit their Charlottesville Porch Portraits taken during the pandemic. This is the first time the project will be shown collectively in a public space.

Keith Urban on World Cafe

Every artist’s discography tells a story. On a new Backtracking, Keith Urban looks back at his entire catalogue and tells stories about songs that played a special role in his life and career: the song that changed everything, the song he wrote in just one sitting, the song that surprised him and made him cry, and more. That’s next time on World Cafe.
