SNACKTIME teamed up with Devon Gilfillian on their reimagining of the song “Together”, and it’s available to you right now as the Free Weekly Download at WNRN.org. The band is Philadelphia’s already beloved seven-piece band with soul, funk, punk, hip hop and rock influences. Created in Summer 2020, the group began performing free shows in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square that quickly attracted huge crowds. And these shows lead to the unorthodox move of releasing a live album in 2022 as their debut release. SNACKTIME’s newest album, This is Dance Music EP is out now!
In a departure from their previous sound, Fontaines D.C.’s fourth album, Romance, sees the Irish post-punk band incorporating unlikely influences, such as new wave music and anime, all the while maintaining the band’s edgy, rebellious identity. On the next World Cafe, Fontaines D.C. performs a mini concert of songs from all four of their albums, recorded live in Philadelphia.
