Justin Golden, a Richmond-based musician, nonprofit founder, and friend of WNRN, has been diagnosed with a rare, stage 4 cancer. As Justin has always been ready to support WNRN when asked, it’s now our time to share his message with you and ask you to consider supporting such a generous, talented, and cherished member of our community.
On Sundays from 12-2 p.m. Drew, Dan, and Mike practice indie-rock archaeology as co-hosts of Les Temps Perdu. Tune in for two hours of old-school glam, punk, new wave, alternative, grunge, and indie-rock from the 70s through the mid-90s.
Michael Kiwanuka’s latest album, Small Changes, strips away excess production elements, to remind people why we fell in love with him in the first place, his voice. Kiwanuka, who once again worked with Danger Mouse and Inflo, will talk about big life events and the small changes he made to navigate them. Plus, we will hear songs from Small Changes. It’s Michael Kiwanuka on the next World Cafe.
