WNRN Members had early access to groove with Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe on Thursday night!
Before doors opened at The Foundry in Waynesboro, Members were invited in for a sound check session hosted by Jeff Sweatman. Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe blew the roof off with funky tunes and answered a few questions about tour life, the band’s origin, and more.
On Hurray for the Riff Raff’s latest album, Alynda Segarra is a reanimator: casting the old American cowboy myth in a new light, crafting heroic legends for long lost friends of theirs, and finding ways to commune with their father who they lost right before recording the record. It’s called The Past is Still Alive, and Hurray for the Riff Raff talks about it, on the next World Cafe.
