The Free Clinic of Central Virginia is a nonprofit in Lynchburg that aims to provide high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive healthcare for every member of our community. 

They’re hosting a basketball tournament at the University of Lynchburg called Hoops for Health on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22nd.

During this two-day event, local companies play each other and enjoy a bracket-style tournament. 

They welcome you to come out and cheer on their teams while supporting your Free Clinic of Central Virginia. 

Little Hands VA is a Richmond based nonprofit serving families and children in Central Virginia as the region’s diaper bank. In Central Virginia, 1 in 2 families experience diaper need, so this September 23-October 23, they are hosting their Big Diaper Drive in efforts to help wipe out diaper need and ensure that Virginia’s littlest ones are clean, happy and healthy.

Little Hands welcomes you to host a drive at school, work, or within your community to help reach their goal of collecting 200,000 diapers to support our region’s children and their families. More information can be found at bigdiaperdrive.org.
