Community Connection: Waynesboro Heritage Foundation

The Waynesboro Heritage Foundation is a nonprofit foundation which operates the Waynesboro Heritage Museum as well as the early 19th-century Historic Plumb House Museum in Waynesboro, Virginia. They preserve and share the history of Waynesboro and the immediate surrounding area.
They believe that preserving our collective history is a collaborative effort, and invite you and your family to visit them in Downtown Waynesboro, at the corner of Main and Wayne, to learn about Waynesboro together. Their doors are open 10-5 Tuesday through Saturday.
Along with a permanent gallery, they have on display until October an exhibit about the centennial of Waynesboro’s Rosenwald School, and opening this July 2nd is a new joint exhibit in collaboration with the Waynesboro Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs, who are celebrating 100 years of service to the community in 2025.
