We’re excited to announce that WNRN has been recognized for excellence in broadcasting at the 85th Annual Virginia Association of Broadcasters Awards. We placed first in the Best Station Promotion/Contest Radio category, and we placed second in the Best Human Interest Series Radio category.
WNRN’s Alan Williams also won The J.J. Freeman Engineering Achievement Award, which honors those who have made an outstanding contribution to broadcasting and who have shown technical knowledge, dedication, dependability and leadership in broadcast engineering affairs.
With Community Connections and Hear Togethers, we are committed to providing a voice for our community and identifying ways to get involved and make a difference. A special thank you to our listeners and to our non-profit neighbors who have willingly shared their stories with us.
