Americana singer-songwriter Jim Lauderdale came by the station in Charlottesville to play a couple songs from his new album, Game Changer, out on August 26th. The cheerful lead single “That Kind Of Life (That Kind Of Day)” cruises on wishing good times to whoever’s listening: “Go through, don’t go away / And have that kind of life, that kind of day.” He also played “We’re All We Got” from Game Changer, a timely reminder about bridging the great divide of relationships, at home and beyond.

Jim went back to his 2021 release Hope to play “Memory,” which was co-written with longtime collaborator and late Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter. Check out the full set from WNRN’s studio below!
