Three Notch’d Road: The Virginia Baroque Ensemble is a nonprofit based in Charlottesville that seeks to enrich the culture of Central Virginia through historically-informed performances that reveal the beauty of early music.
They are presenting the final program of their thirteenth season in Charlottesville and Staunton public concerts on Saturday, April 27th and Sunday, April 28th.
This program, entitled “Polyhymnia: Praetorius for Eastertide,” will feature soprano Sheila Dietrich and cellist Jeremy Ward and will include one of Michael Praetorius’s great choral and instrumental masterpieces played on period instruments.
