IX Art Park is hosting Charlottesville’s urban Renaissance Festival, The Fae Festival, on Saturday, June 10th from 3-8PM and Sunday, June 11th from 10AM-6PM. IX will be transformed into an otherworldly medieval village with mythical creatures, fairy folk, music, workshops, and more. The medieval market will feature over 55 vendors offering an array of handmade crafts and artworks, herbal remedies, witchy wares, and more.
Face painting, henna tattoos, tarot and palm readings will all be available along with live demonstrations and workshops that will teach visitors how to create everything from masks and macrame jewelry to brooms and herb sachets. The festival is open to all ages and IX welcomes attendees to dress in costume.
